Physicist Invents New Technology to Treat Cancer

Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green is the first scientist to develop a method to insert nanoparticles into only cancer cells, not healthy cells, so that a laser can be directed to destroy only the cancer cells. The road to her success was hard and she used the words from The Little Engine That Could to keep her going, “I think I can, I think I can.”
